Malta stage one report - TT.

The team had big boots to fill after taking the win on this stage last year. Who consisted of David Reece, Cameron Foster, Harry Horsman, Matt Dobbing and Josh Copley.

The course is a simple lap with 2 U-turns and 2 straights one slightly up and one slightly down, 5 times in total each lap taking on average between 3:35 and 4:10.

The boys started individually like any time trial and put in good times, from the off with Cameron leading the standings as he finished. He was then beaten but the eventual 2nd place rider, before Harry put in a solid time to take 3rd. David got a time fast enough to take 8th and Matt rode to an impressive 6th. Josh started last due to the placings of the results last year. Josh rode smoothly and consistently measuring the effort, as it was his first major race back after time off.
Josh was able to grab the win for a second year on the trot by 5 seconds.
Combination of Bottecchia T1, with TT bars, C-bear BB, jocky wheels and rotor chainset helping him take the result.
