Nickname? Cam/Badger – Badger because of an inside joke years ago, which turned into naming our Saturday rides to badger rides. I was called young badger and thankfully the young part got dropped as I got older.
Started cycling aged? I never really stopped from childhood, but 8 was when I started doing longer rides.
First bike? Ribble 7005 Audax with 9 speed 105 back in the day.
What inspired you to cycle? Watching Tour de France when I was younger.
Favourite place to ride? My local roads in North Oxfordshire. There are lots of quiet roads and hills, also Mallorca, because its warm and great for cycling.
Favourite race? To watch is Paris Roubaix or Tour of Flanders. To race is Tour ta Malta.
Post race meal? Pasta with sun dried tomato sauce.
What inspires you to keep going when on the limit? Knowing/thinking that it'll end soon!
Who is your cycling hero and why? Peter Sagan – He's a classy rider and very strong, but he's always interesting to watch in the classics.
What has cycling taught you? It's taught me that if you want to achieve your goals you need to put the time and effort in.
Favourite music? Most music, 80s, rock, heavy metal and screamo. My favourite band is A Day To Remember.
