First bike? Was a Mendiz aluminium bike, which was way to big for me at first and handed down to me by the local club.
What inspired you to cycle? It’s a sport that requires a lot of determination and effort, but gives back a lot of satisfaction when overcoming goals and gives you the opportunity to discover new places.
Favourite place to ride? Costa Blanca Spain, my home and great riding all year round, with terrain to suit all training needs.
Favourite race? Beaumont Trophy 2016.
Post race meal? Steak and chips.
What inspires you to keep going when on the limit? Determination to outperform other riders and cross the line with a good result.
Who is your cycling hero and why? Alberto Contador combative style of riding and makes the races exciting to watch.
What has cycling taught you? Discipline and perseverance.
Favourite music? Anything that’s in the charts, with a few Spanish hits thrown in.
Favourite film? Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.
Interesting fact about you? Developed as a rider racing in Spain for 4 years, before coming back to the UK for uni.
