Joe, 34th

Peter, 46th

The Wally Gimber Trophy is one of the longest continuously-running road races in the United Kingdom, having been held every year since 1960.  2019 will be our 60th edition

HQ opening time: 9am Race start time: 11am

Teams and/or clubs will have a maximum of four riders.

It is highly likely that the race will be heavily oversubscribed.  Field selection will therefore be made after the closing date by the event organiser. In doing so he will have regard for a rider’s BC race category as at the closing date for entries, as well as the need for team/club managers to have a degree of flexibility in the selection of their own squads.  A small number of places will be reserved for local club riders and club riders will generally be given priority over unattached riders.

Teams wishing to include a team car in the race convoy must notify the event organiser in advance, be driven by drivers with the relevant BC endorsement and all driver must attend the pre-race convoy briefing.

A full programme will be published in advance of the event, soon after the closing date for entries.
