Barton wheelers 25 mile TT - 6th June - 1st - 54:55 - Kieran Hotsonreporting:
In preparation for the BC national TT champs at the end of the month I rode the Barton 25 after a heavy few days of training. As well as adjusting my position ahead of the champs.
The course is a twisty back road and country lanes route for the first 10 miles followed by a horrible short steep climb thrown in at 11 miles before the remainder of the course uses a few relays up and down a draggy dual carriageway section all the way to the finish. By no means a fast course but certainly a fun and different course to ride and one I enjoyed. My time gave me a comfortable win and a time that was around 40 seconds shy of the course record which was set on a much better day. The wind was fairly high on the day so cost me some time.
